Stopped in and ordered a lamb gyro to go. The friendly young man offered me a delicious chai while I waited. He answered my questions in a welcoming demeanor. The gyro was awesome. I will be returning soon to try some of their other dishes soon! i apologize for the lighting of the photo, it looked very appetizing, and tasted great!
Stopped in to get a gyro. Ordered a lamb gyro to go. While I was waiting the friendly young man offered me a delicious chai. He answered my questions with a hospitable demeanor. The gyro was delicious and well made. I will be returning to try some of their other dishes soon! I apologize for the photo. It had a very appetizing appearance and was awesome!
Food is excellent! I recommend the lamb kabob wrap or the chicken and lamb platter. Staff is always kind and quick service.
In & Out Kabab Gyro is my FAVORITE place for Beef Tikka Kabab as of 2023. As many of you might know, I've been on that heavy spice road lately lol. I used to be around this area alot due to Sesame Place, Carrabba's, Giant(used to be 24 hours), etc.... so I'm quite familiar with this area. Found this place on Google map because I was looking for beef kababs platter. And for some reason, most kabab places around NE Philly either doesn't carry it or charges $40 and up for it. I want a platter but I don't want to burn a hole in my wallet lol. I always get the Beef Tikka Kabab platter and the Frinee. If I want two meals out of it, I would just order a single skewer of Tikka Kabab. Now that's enough for me to get two meals out of it. I don't know what are the sauces call, but one is red and the other is green. The green sauce is kinda tangy, which tastes great to add on the rice. The red spicy sauce is perfect for the kabab, not overly spicy or bland, just perfect amount of heat. I try to get the Frinee every time I order, but sometimes they are in stock and some times they are sold out. Usually I would keep my fingers crossed for the Frinee lol. Last but not least, they have different drinks in the fridge. I love restaurants that carry the unusual drinks. The only con about this place is I lived kinda far, so I stop by whenever I'm in the area.
We've been supporting this restaurant since shortly after it opened, and to this day this is one of our favorites places for take-out. (And given that there are SO many restaurants in the area it says a lot!) Everything is delicious and thoughtfully prepared, and I love that the restaurant seems family-run. The front staff is always friendly and ready to answer any questions I have. Their mantu is a delicious MUST whenever we order from here! Actually it's our (not-so-secret-anymore) goal to try every item on their menu. Never had a bad experience here and we'll continue to support!
Came once and tried lamb shank with qabuli polau. Amazing. 100% recommend. Can't wait to come back iA.
I needed a nice big post-practice meal, and I was invited to come try In & Out Kabab Gyro right outside of Northeast Philly! When my plate got brought out, the lamb shank was smothered in the rice, so i when to move the lamb on top for a picture and the meat slipped off of the bone. This was not expected at all! It was super tender and flavorful, and the lamb literally melted in your mouth. The rice was so flavorful with the raisins and carrots mixed in, that i dont know if I can have it any other way anymore! Also, definitely add some of their white tzatziki sauce on top for even more flavor! They have so many different options where ranging from platters, to gyros, to kebabs, there is definitely something for everyone! I'm excited to hopefully be back and try more of their fantastic menu!
This was my first visit to this restaurant. Place is small. Food was ordered.We had to wait for our food. When our food arrived, it was temperature hot. The food was very fresh and tasty. The chicken, the beef and the lamb were excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant. They have a fridge that holds soda and other drinks.
Ordered via UberEats. Combo lamb/Chicken over rice. Excellent taste. The meat is so flavorful I couldn't get enough. Would get extra meat next time but it had enough in it. Good rice and fresh veggies. Only complaint was it only came with 1 small piece of pita. Very soft and fresh though I would get a side of extra pita for more. Also tried the in & out seasoned fries. Great spice! Good kick to them & love crinkle cut. You get a good amount also. Overall great value. I would like to dine in next time to try more of the menu. 4.5 stars
